We love a good urban street view, and this is of the bakery/coffee shop "Savor the Moment." located right across the street from the Cultural Arts Center and Center City Park on the southeast corner of Davie Street and Friendly Avenue. In visiting their website, we learned that for $8.99 a month, you can become a member. Membership entitles you to one free cup of hot or iced coffee a day, as well as discounts and a free crunch cheesecake a month. They are open every day but Monday, As an example, Savor the Moment is open 25 days in June, making a daily cup of coffee cost a mere 36ยข, not even factoring in other goodies. That would definitely be a great gift for someone who spent a lot of time downtown. They even have an event space available for rental. Today, they are open from 10am-9pm. Tomorrow is First Friday and they will be open until 10pm, a perfect spot is you are heading to one of the downtown parks or the Cultural Arts Center.
