Indeed, March comes in like a lion. There have been some fierce winds this month. This was the sky over North Battleground Avenue yesterday. The wind was whipping around and pushing weather fronts around in Greensboro. In the above photo, dark clouds are hovering over the city; to be sure, they were menacing. However, in the end, the light in the east won out as the downpour never came. Likely, in a couple of weeks, we will transition from March winds to April showers.
Years ago, we used to participate diligently in Skywatch Friday, where bloggers around the world post a photo of the sky every Friday. The site is still going strong after 18 years.
