There has been a lot of road construction taking place around town in January, including the installation of new wires and poles in front of Grimsley High School at Josephine Boyd Street and Benjamin Parkway. The above work was being completed at the corner of Guilford College Road and West Friendly Avenue, at Guilford College. Seeing the school bus reminds us that a new semester is underway and we need to remember to stop for busses. You never know when children will be running to or from their bus. Here is the link for the website of the North Carolina Department of Public Safety.
Schools on the traditional calendar have a teacher workday today. However, other schools may be in session. So, there will be some busses on the highway. Also, be careful with all of those construction workers on the road. Here's to a great week of navigating around the Greensboro, weather on foot, bicycle or in a car. Also, have a great week if you are staying home.
Happy Monday!
