Last night, the Festival of Lights was held in downtown Greensboro. It was holiday fun from LeBauer Park to the 500 block of South Elm Street. The above photo was taken at the corner of Market and Elm Streets, where north and south and east and west are divided. To the left, you can see Elm Street peeking out.
This display was one of the many picture-perfect places for families to snap photos along Elm Street. The photo is a bit deceptive, because it doesn't look like there were any people. In all actuality, the First Friday/Festival of Lights was very well attended. It seems like the days in December start to pass quickly and it will be January before we know it. Tomorrow is the holiday parade. expect temperatures around 40ยบ. Just like last night, getting out and interacting with others will be fun and rewarding. Head on out and see for yourself.
Happy Saturday!
