The above photo is of the LeBauer Park side of the Tanger Center for the Performing Arts. It was taken a few weeks ago, when the hydrangea heads were dried up, but the roses were still going strong. This north side of town has blossomed over the last few years. We are so lucky to have live theatre in Greensboro, and especially all of the Broadway musicals. This 494 million facility has only been open since 2021, but it seems like it has been with us for a very long time.
Tanger seats about 3,000 people which seems to be just the right size for our community. It is not uncommon for people who give talks there, especially Bryan Series speakers, to mention how impressed they are with the venue. It just seems to fit that corner lot and serves as a gateway to the city parks and the Cultural Arts Center. See here if you want to attend an event at Tanger. They have a different option every night this weekend.
Happy Thursday!
