The above photo is of the new, relocated Brooks Global Elementary School at 400 Ashland Drive near the Greensboro Arboretum. The plan is for it to open in January. It is located on the Old Craven School Site. The families with children currently enrolled absolutely love Brooks School, the culture, and the teachers. They are beyond excited to have their children attend the new school that will have new technology and will emphasize sustainability and discovery learning. If you get out this weekend, drive by and see your tax dollars at work. This is an 80,000 sq. ft. building and the lot is about 8 acres, but, it fits perfectly.
