Yesterday, Music for Sunday Evening in the Parks (MUSEP) was held in Lindley Park (3300 Starmount Dr.), on the West Market Street side of the Greensboro Arboretum. Music was provided by the salsa group Orquesta Internacional la Clave. This group from Bogota delighted the crowd.
When we took this photo, only a few couples were dancing, but along the way more people joined in. The music was fabulous and the weather was perfect. Greensboro is so lucky to have the MUSEP Concert Series. It is free, open to the public, and you can buy food from the food trucks, or you can bring your own food. Some people set up elaborate picnics; some rely on the food trucks. Some are on picnic blankets: others bring chairs. MUSEP is two hours of music in the backdrop of a Greensboro park with an opportunity to socialize with others in the crowd.
Happy Monday!
