This past Friday had some interesting weather. There was sun, some rain, rainbows, and then the Northern Lights. The above photo was taken along Highway 150, between Kernersville and Oak Ridge. The business is the Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home. According to their website, they've been in Kernersville since 1984. Surely, there is a message when a rainbow arcs over a funeral home.
We love to drive on the back roads and out in the county. Highway 150 to Kernersville used to have a country road feel. Over the past few years, construction has been extensive. Already, it is getting harder to tell where Kernersville and Forsyth County end and Oak Ridge and Guilford County begin. The road is still un-busy enough to allow for time to stop and photograph and catch little slices of life, much more so than U.S. Highway 421 or I-40.
Happy Tuesday!
