As the weather gets warmer, downtown just seems to come alive. The photo above features the splashed or spray ground in LeBauer Park. It is open from May to September 8am-10pm. Children love romping in the water while parents sit around watching. The children have so much fun. It is also known as the VF Seasonal Plaza fountain. See this list of local splash pads. Perhaps you could set a goal to visit all of them with your children this summer.
These water features are just so fun and a good prelude to a vacation to the beach. For those with children, school will be winding up soon. We'll be on the lookout for some more summer-fun ideas!
