The Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art has dynamic exhibits that are displayed in the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center on Davie Street. Currently, they have an exciting exhibit featuring all things outer space. It is called LEAP: Artists Imagine Outer Space. There are space suits, as the artist imagines it. There are futuristic outposts, fictional persona, and works of art that inspire viewers to imagine our place in the universe. This is a creative, interactive exhibit that will hold the attention of people of all ages.
This exhibit will be installed until June 29th and on First Friday (June 7th) the exhibit will be open from 3:00 pm- 9:00 pm. It will be a great way to kick off summer fun. During First Friday there will be participatory activities. The above photo is an example of the level of engagement and intergenerational fun possible at this exhibit.
Happy Thursday!
