The Greensboro BOUND Literary Festival is upon us. The above photo was taken at Scuppernong Books yesterday. They have a display of books, the works of the authors who are coming to town. It starts today and events will be happening until Sunday. See HERE for a schedule and more information. James McBride, author of "The Color of Water" and "The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store" is speaking tonight on UNCG's campus. Pre-registration was required and it is full.
In 2018, the festival was co-founded by Brian Lampkin, co-owner of Scuppernong Books, and Steve Colyer a retired telecom executive. The authors and their presentations, or conversations, and workshops represent a wide diversity of topics and genres. The author selection is also quite diverse. The festival organizers have worked hard on the logistics, in an effort for attendees to make it from Point A to Point B (see here). Greensboro is so lucky to have this great event centered around BOOKS! Year 7 looks pretty fabulous.
Happy Thursday!
