The Piedmont Old Time Society has an open jam the second Saturday at the Corner Market on Market Street. At the last Jam, Rebecca Kress of Guilford College's WQSF radio station heard the group and invited them to her show last Friday. The above photo features part of the group practicing in the home of a member. You can't see Rebecca because she is behind the guitar player taking copious notes.
The group performed on Rebecca's show. She asked great questions and had a way of pulling everyone into the questions and comments. Fun was had by all. If you like acoustic music, you will probably love the POTS jams. The people are very friendly and inviting. They also meet in the Continental Club on the first and 3rd Thursday's at 7:00 pm.
