This is another great scene on East Washington Street. Everyone was stoping this young man with six poodles. They were so well behaved and he made handling six look like a cakewalk. Part of what makes downtown on the weekend, especially when there are community events, is the serendipity of who you meet and who you get a chance to talk to. We didn't get this guy's name, and he wasn't there when we were there later. Not only did we want to ask him his name, we also wanted to find out where he got those Carolina blue tennis shoes. We could use them for the Carolina grad in our family.
Just behind the photographer in this photo is all of the new construction happening on Davie Street. The News & Record building is still visible from the 100 block of East Washington Street. Just at the end of the block is the International Civil Rights Center and Museum. It is nice to see this little section of South Elm Street getting more foot traffic.
Happy Wednesday!
That's a lot of dogs.
I wondered if you were away. Your blog isn't updating on my blog reader past four weeks ago.
