Saints and Sinners is located at 536 Farragut Street beside Jerry's Artarama and I-40. Sinners and Saints is sometimes billed as the best biker bar in Greensboro. It is owned by a husband and wife team and patrons say the owners work hard at building community. We were there a couple of weeks ago at the time a ride was departing. The roar of all of those Harleys heading out at once was deafening; however, you could feel the energy, camaraderie, and sense of community resonating through the parking lot. By chance, we were in the way of their high noon departure and had to remain motionless. There was no use trying to even pull over, as the roll out had commenced. However, not one motorcycle honked at us. They just drove around us. At Saints & Sinners, they host concerts. the next one will be on September, the Billy Creason Band. Rest assured, bikes will come out in droves. It is interesting to see all of the many ways riders outfit and customize their bikes.
On another note, we missed the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on September 11th at the Eugene Parking Deck this past weekend. It honored the public safety personnel who perished at the World Trade Center. People were encouraged to climb 11 times, representing the approximately 78 flights of stairs, the highest flight of stairs firefighters reached in the World Trade Center. We're betting there were some bikers at the event.
