It seems we've been noticing a lot of change in Greensboro lately. The above building, on Lawndale Drive, was formerly a Golden Corral. It was always crowded, but for some reason in January of 2020 it closed. The Golden Coral off of West Wendover is still open. The first Golden Corral opened on January 3rd 1973 in Fayetteville, NC. Golden Corral is headquartered in Raleigh, NC. As of 2022, they had 397 locations throughout the USA and Puerto Rico.
Last week, we were driving by and noticed that construction is going on inside the building. The property is 2.84 acres. It will be interesting to see what moves into that space. So far, that we can find, nothing has been published. Do you know? If so, please let us know.
Happy Saturday! It is a great day for exploring- Greensboro and beyond!
Likely another restaurant.

I stopped going to this one because the inside needed upkeep; I did not feel that it was a place that i wanted to dine in. It needed repairs and interior attention.
A new one is going to be in Danville, VA. I will visit I that one. If an establishment is unwilling to keep up its infrastructure, then I don’t think its safe or a good idea to dine there.
