School is out for the summer and tis the season of Vacation Bible School. The above photo is of the First Moravian Church of Greensboro (304 South Elam Avenue) with the signage on their front lawn advertising their Vacation Bible School. Crafts, music, dinner, what could be more appealing to provide an option for children to build summer memories with their spiritual home. If you are interested, you'd need to do something TODAY, because it starts tomorrow- at least based on what we see on the website. The theme this year is "Going Global: Where in the World Are Moravians?" Participants will learn the culture and customs of Moravians around the world. To be sure, follow the QR code on the banner in front of the church.
If you are not Moravian, not to worry, there are summer VBS programs for all denominations. If you want to be Moravian, this church is a fabulous place to visit.
Happy Sunday!
I common sight among denominations here, though it tends to be later in the summer
