Today's yellow house with the bright red roof is located at 1223 Gregory Street in the Glenwood neighborhood of Greensboro. It was built in 1938 and hasn't sold since 2013. It looks like whoever has owned it for the last ten years has really kept it up; probably even upgraded it. Between the red roof and bright blue sky, this yellow house really pops. As we drove around Greensboro this past weekend in search of houses for our "rainbow" house series, we started to think we could shoot the whole series in Glenwood. Green, blue, and yellow houses are pretty easy to find. Red, orange, and purple houses are a little harder. If you have a lead about houses in those three colors in Greensboro, please let us know.
Glenwood is a diverse neighborhood, said to be the most diverse in all of North Carolina. The more we look at these two bedroom, one bathroom homes, so typical of Glenwood, the more appealing we find them. If you are trying to move closer to town, you can't beat the location of this neighborhood.
Happy Tuesday!
Very colourful.
