Well, it's the weekend and people are talking about the great scratch-made breakfasts and Sunday brunch at The Sage Mule. In November of 2019, the restaurant opened at 608 Battleground Avenue. It is located at the end of a strip of establishments that are becoming quite the destination. On Wednesday, when we were out walking on National Walking Day, we walked through Green Hill Cemetery and on the walk back to town, this is the view. Look how lovely this side of the restaurant is here with the Adirondack chairs, dried grasses, and rock garden. If you look to the left of the pergola, you can see signage for the Sage Mule. This view is very different from the Battleground side. It is fun to look at things from a fresh perspective, be it a situation in your life, or a very special downtown restaurant.
Happy Friday! May you find great things and restaurants to explore around town. Right now, we're trying to plan our trip to the Sage Mule and deciding between something savory or the cinny buns, which are so deliciously decadent they should be called sin-ny buns!
I like the view.
