Tiny Home on Cannon Road

This tiny house at 724 Cannon Road was a tiny home before tiny homes were trending. Built in 1930, it is only 680 square feet, one bedroom and one bathroom. We're betting to the person who bought it in 2012, it is just enough- especially since it hasn't been for sale for almost ten years. If the house were just two rooms, 680 square feet would be five 12'x12' rooms.*

If you look at the photo, you see a house that is well maintained, as is the front yard. The backyard is charming and has a patio/courtyard feel to it. Cannon Road intersects with West Friendly Avenue na 724 Cannon is just two houses away from West Friendly. The way the house is set back from the road, and with the greenery in the front and the mature trees all around, it is as if the house were a cottage in a rural setting. It is even more private when the trees have leaves. That wreath on the front door is an example of just what a statement simple decorations make. Truthfully, tiny is the new big!

Hi. I'm the owner of this house. It's a great little place that I've done a lot of work on. Thanks for the nice article. One thing though, 680 square feet is actually a little under 5 12'x 12' rooms.
