The non-profit, Center for Visual Artists has been open in Greensboro since 1956:That is quite a legacy of celebrating local art and supporting artists. If you have any extra time this week, head down to the Cultural Arts Center on Davie Street and have a look at all of the galleries throughout the facility. Also, if you are looking for last minute gifts, the Center for Visual Artists is holding their 4th Annual Holiday Invitational. You can buy so many interesting items from local artists. Christmas will sneak up on us this year, given it is on a Saturday and Christmas Eve is on a Friday night. That gives us four more shopping days until Christmas. Even if you don't need gifts, it is nice to get out and see some great art. CVA will be open Tue, Wed, and Thur this week. Here is a link to CVA's website so you can see hours and learn more about the show and plan a visit this week.
Happy Monday!
Lovely art.
