The above photo is of a house on Tory Hill Drive in northwest Greensboro. The red brick house was built in 1985 and painted white sometime thereafter. It is built on about 3/4 acres with a lot of wooded land behind it. This house looks so absolutely beautiful at dusk, when the sun has set, but it is still light enough to discern details. This colonial style is so popular around Greensboro. This house has five windows on the second floor and four and a door on the bottom, with an added wing on each side. That orange door looks especially beautiful with the floodlights pointing in its direction. That inverted chevron shadow above the door is the icing on the cake. Sometimes homes that go unnoticed by day absolutely come to life at night.
Is there a house in your neighborhood that is even more spectacular at night? As you can see from above, a ittle lighting and a touch of color really help. Happy Saturday! May it be filled with adventure and with noticing special things in Greensboro.
That is a beautiful home.
