Today's photo is of the Wal-Mart parking lot on North Battleground. This store is not as busy, or hectic, as some of the others around town. There is a kudzu lot between Wal-Mart and the Big Lots Plaza. If you time it right, as you leave the store, you have a fabulous view of sunset. In the above photo, we'd missed the actual sunset, but we still saw that magical glow that lingers a few minutes after the sun has dipped below the horizon. Part of the fun of photography is finding a way to freeze a little beauty, a slice of life, in a frame. What does "STOP" look like upside down? do's? dots? At any rate, looking at STOP from this orientation slows us down.
Today, we just had a little parking lot fun. We hope you are having a great day and that when you can't stop and smell the roses, you can stop and maybe catch a sunset. From this orientation, it looks like the Wal-mart is surrounded by woods, which is part of the beauty of Greensboro. Let's work hard to keep it green!
Happy Tuesday!
A good twilight.
