Happy Sunday, the day we try to post something spiritual or reflective on Greensboro Daily Photo. We try to find places that reflect the diversity of Greensboro. There are almost 26,000 Hispanic people in Greensboro, or 8.7 percent of the population. It is only natural for churches, businesses and services that cater to the Spanish speaking community. The Iglesia Redención y Salvación is a Pentecostal church located at 3312 Spring Garden Street, between Gay Terrace and Crazy Tires Tire Shop, just west of Holden Road. All along Spring Garden Street, from Lindley Park to West Market Street, there are several businesses that cater to the Spanish speaking members of the community.
The building housing the "Iglesia Redención y Salvación" looks like it used to house a commercial business. But if you drive by on a Sunday, Tuesday, or Saturday, you will see that it is indeed a church with people attending services and participating in fellowship with each other. This church doesn't seem to maintain a website, but they do have a Facebook page, if you want to try to learn more about them. Have a great day, whether you are in church, watching The Super Bowl, working, or just relaxing with family.
A curious setting for a church.
