Rainy days can make for very beautiful photos. The above photo was taken at the corner of South Elm Street and West McGee on Saturday night. It was almost evening. Part of South Elm Street was closed to cars so that pedestrians could walk around and eat outside without having cars in the way. Unfortunately, the rain sent people home early. The above photo was taken in front of Little Brother Brewers at 348 South Elm Street. This small brewery bills itself at a boutique brewery. Little Brother has been downtown for about five years now. The owners of the brewers have written a very thorough piece about the people behind the business (see here). The Collie and McCoy families have worked tirelessly to give this establishment a cozy, hometown feel. On warm days, they open all the windows, put out the benches, and it is as if patrons are outside while being protected from the elements. Here's to a good week for all of us! Happy Monday!
I like the shot.
