Bruce Street is a tiny, mixed-use street off of Spring Garden, just east of Elam, where the house featured today is located. This two bedroom one bath home, built in 1925 has probably been student rental since it was last purchased in 2002. We're featuring it today, because it reminds us of what people do to make a house a home. Especially during these times when everyone is spending so much more time at home, it is important to have a place that makes you feel cozy.
Imagine everything students have been going through, needing to do all coursework online and not being able to go to campus. A big part of the college experience is the very act of spending time on campus. The prayer flags and the swinging, nest chair say a lot about the people in this home. Especially, given the way the trees are dappled with sunlight, the yard gives the feeling of a remove haven; when, in reality, it is less than a mile from campus. Happy Monday! Here's to us all finding our happy spot!
