Today's photo is of Bethel Baptist Church at 2230 Lees Chapel Road. Lee's Chapel is located on the eastern side of Greensboro and actually turns into Pisgah Church Road as it gets closer to Elm Street. Bethel Baptist has the architecture of so many churches. Brick veneer, A-line roof in the front, and white steeple with a cross on top. It was built in 1953 on almost an acre of land. It is possible the congregation pre-dates the building of the church. Unfortunately, they don't have a history on their website. If you have more information the church, please share with us and we'll provide the additional information through Greensboro Daily Photo.
If you are looking for a traditional, independent Baptist Church, contact the pastor, Reverend Gunter, read more about them on their website, here, or consider attending a service.
Happy Sunday!
