Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, like the rest of the churches in Greensboro, is holding its services online today, as opposed to in person. For the young and tech savvy, this arrangement is not much of an issue. However, for the older members and the ones without internet access, the arrangement is a real hardship. Some members have attended for decades, rarely missing a Sunday. The origins of the church actually date to 1899, but the present building wasn't constructed until 1963. If you are interested in reading more about the history, see the website, here.
For those members who are really missing their church, not to worry. The geese have promised to keep a watchful eye for you. Happy Sunday!
Quite a beauty.
