Spring is trying to come to Greensboro. Although it is rainy today, the temperatures should reach the mid-50s. The above photo features the High Silver Texas Paint Farm on Pleasant Ridge Road at Stanley Huff Road. The horses grazing and waiting for dinner is such a beautiful sight. Many of the horses are being boarded and some belong to the owner of the farm.
If you want to take lessons, you can contact the owner, Jody Hinshaw. Riding horses is not just a pastime, it is a lifestyle. For riders, everything from the barnish smells, to the attire, to the before and after work to keep horses healthy, all add to the allure of the sport. When you drive by and see these well-cared-for horses on this farm, you will be very tempted to give the sport a try. Just look at those beautiful faces...
They're waiting for carrots.
