The above photo features Davie Street as it nears the railroad tracks, behind Natty Greene's and at Hamburger Square. This is such a fantastic part of town with a vintage feel, it has everything from small businesses to living and patio space. This area is part of downtown Greensboro's historic district and the traditional, central core of the city. It is nice that these buildings have survived, as they are surrounded by many parking lots.
Greensboro is known for having many buildings from the turn of the last century and in the Italianate style. They provide a real vintage feel to the town, while still functional and in many cases with all of the modern conveniences. Have a happy Wednesday.
Love the store fronts
