This past Sunday, the sky over Greensboro was filled with wavy clouds. The sun was shining, but it was cool, and the clouds looked like visible waves of wind. The above photo was taken on Gallimore Dairy Road, facing north in the direction of the airport. It seems like fall weather is conducive to interesting skies.
Are you a skywatcher? If so, pay special attention to the fall sunsets. Let us know if you have suggestions for the best places in Greensboro to weather watch. We often get that question, especially regarding viewing a full moon low to the horizon. We tend to go for serendipity and pull off the road as we see something photo-worthy. However, we'd love to have so me "go to" spots.
Happy Wednesday. Feeling groovy from the positive effects of this groovy wavy skyscape!
I'm definitely a skywatcher Janis, cloud formations are fascinating to see 💙 Your wavy clouds look a little like mountains in the mist 😊
