First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro is as beautiful as any church you will find in Greensboro, in North Carolina, and maybe even in the United States. Built in 1928, the gothic revival architecture is reminiscent of the churches of Europe. It also has a beautiful history with the first congregation dating back to 1824 and four of the original 12 members being slaves. Of course slavery is a terrible part of our country's narrative; however, that people were free to worship together was noteworthy.
If you ever have a chance to attend, you will see that the inside is even more breathtaking than the outside. Preachers and congregants both have a way of staying put. So, the sermons, spirituality, and other activities of the church must be good. Have a great Sunday! Stop back tomorrow.
It is impressive!
