We first featured FaithStep Ministries Church on GDP in 2012. Seven years later, they are still going strong, and they are still located at 309 West Gate City Boulevard. A Greensboro News & Record article from 15 years ago explains how long-time members form a circle around first-time attendees and let them know that they are now part of their circle of worship. This storefront church attracts people who in many cases are down on their luck. As the article so beautifully explains, "Here, worshippers from the poorest, potentially least hopeful backgrounds find welcoming hands and hearts."* The goal of the church is to minister people in transition. It sounds like Christlike work is being performed at this church. If you ever have an opportunity to help or visit, likely, you will find your involvement fulfilling. Happy Sunday; Happy helping those whose lives are in transition.
