Greensboro Dance Theater

Greensboro Dance Theatre has left the building on Battleground Avenue, next to the Rainbow Car Wash, near Cone Boulevard. They are still enrolling for fall and classes will begin in September in their new building on Westover Terrace. It is located behind IHOP and Outback Steakhouse. The new building allows the dance studio to expand, update, and not be right on a main highway. We will miss watching the little ones attempting pirouettes while waiting at the red light.

We always wanted to do a photo shoot with this wall and sign in the background. Now it is too late, as you can see the building is being torn down. D&R Watts is in charge of tearing demolition. It will be interesting to see what goes up in its place. In the meantime, let's wish Greensboro Dance Theatre all the best in their new location as the young ballerinas glissade into the new school and dance year.
