This area, known as Hamburger Square is a vibrant part of downtown with thriving businesses on three of the four corners and the fourth is green space. It is a fun part of town to explore on foot. If you want to know more about Hamburger Square, read this article archived at the Greensboro Public Library. One interesting fact is that at one time, in the early 1940s, there were eating establishments on all four corners and none was segregated.
Happy Saturday and Happy June 1st. Let summer begin!
