Yesterday was a glorious, winter day in Greensboro. Temperatures were in the 60s and the skies were a palate-cleansing blue. This monochromatic look is so appreciated in January after a highly-decorated, colorful December.
The above photo features a bend in the road in the 300 block of South Chapman Street, very near Our Lady of Grace church. The trees are bare and the sky is even more pronounced, looking so crisp between the branches. You can tell the neighborhood is well established by the size of those trees. Nature is pretty glorious, and Greensboro is a pretty city- even in winter!
I love winter trees Janis, these do look quite an age. It's a lovely street scene. Our winter in so mild that sometimes the naked trees are the only way to tell it actually is winter 😊
