If you've ever owned a building with a flat roof, you know that they can be a challenge to maintain. Leaks sprout easily and show and ice weigh quite a lot and can cause damage. This man was busy shoveling snow off of a roof on a building between Branchwood Drive and Battleground Avenue. For some tasks, machines are there to replace people. For shoveling snow off of a roof, it is likely we'll be relying on humans for a very long time. If you are out patronizing businesses today, be sure to thank the employees for all they have been doing behind this scenes to get and stay open. Happy Saturday.
Many of the roofs here are steep for that very reason. Snow will slide off it at a given point.
