Those who travel Battleground Avenue a lot recognize Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church as a beacon of light at the intersection of Pisgah Church Road. Their pumpkin patch and Christmas tree lot attract considerable attention from late fall to early winter. The above night shot features their life-sized JOY sign, aglow at night.
While Mt. Pisgah may attract people to the grounds with their outdoor events and signage, those who attend or visit, find a church with so much to offer. From traditional to contemporary services, Sunday school, youth groups, weekly gatherings, and more, Mt. Pisgah has been welcoming people through its doors since 1845*. Hard to believe this place of JOY dates back before the Civil War and when Greensboro was only 37 years old!
