Yesterday in Greensboro, with the temperature in the mid-20s and the sun shining, the air was crisp and invigorating. The above photo was taken at the corner of Oakland Avenue and Holden Road. Oakland Avenue runs the along the railroad tracks from South Mendenhall all the way to Holden. Since there are a couple of spots that no longer make it possible to drive the entire length, the road is more or less forgotten. However, if the old Rolane Sock Factory gets developed into something like a brewery, the street is likely to gain prominence.
With the Carolina blue sky, and the yellow and burnt orange leaves, the off-white house with the tattoo parlor on the side, looks absolutely striking. Enjoy these last weeks of fall, as old man winter is patiently waiting to pay Greensboro a visit.
The autumn colour is incroyable. A successful business can increase traffic flow considerably, there goes that peaceful scene Janis 😉
