Carson Hill is a singer/songwriter, originally from Ansonville, NC, a small community of just over 600 people, on Highway 52, just north of Wadesboro. Carson is now based out of Nashville, TN and getting recognition for her great voice and solo performing. Last week, she performed at the Vintage Market Days in Summerfield. Shoppers seemed to really enjoy her voice, taking time to listen, enjoying her country-folk sound. If you are interested, you can find a lot of her music on YouTube.
As we begin this post-Thanksgiving, last week in November, mark your calendar for Friday, November 30th, the evening of the Festival of Lights in downtown Greensboro. Also, on December 1st, the Holiday Parade will be in downtown Greensboro. From today, through the New Year, there will be something to do every night in Greensboro. Even if you don't get to hear the lovely Carson sing, you will have plenty of opportunities to hear live music. With all of these institutions of higher education and music programs, Greensboro is a great town to hear live music. Enjoy your day today!
I like your portrait of her!
