Over the last few years, change has been evident in Greensboro. From the widening of Horse Pen Creek, to the opening of more miles of the urban loop, to the new face of midtown, with the addition of all of the new murals, to the changes on South Elm Street, this is not the Greensboro of previous decades.
The above photo is one of the homes closest to the Robert G Shaw Piedmont Triad Farmers Market. It has seen its betters and does not look like it will be long for this world. It will be sad to see it go; however, it will be interesting to see what crops up in its place. This is a prime piece of real estate and will not stay vacant long. Do any readers know what will replace this old house?
Yes, I think that place is beyond salvageable.
