This house on Walker Avenue, in the heart of Lindley Park, is all dressed up for spring. The home is impeccably maintained and the yard has great curb appeal. The owners are nice, neighborly folks, who came out to strike up a chat as we were photographing their flowers. They planted the above tulip bulbs last fall and, this week, the flowers are in full bloom. The tulips provide a great accent to the stone wall.
The house, built in 1928, while only a little over 1,600 square feet, has that wonderful front porch where the owners can enjoy each other and their neighbors on warm afternoons and evenings. Today's photo speaks volumes about life in Lindley Park. From the Arboretum to Bestway, Lindley Elementary School, all the shops, and homes in between, spring has sprung in Lindley Park, and the yards are looking glorious.
This is my kind of house! It's gorgeous. Love that porch and that stone wall. I wonder if it's been updated inside? The yard must take a lot of work, though. Is that a crepe myrtle bush/tree on the right side of the yard?

My absolute favorite house in Lindley Park. I want a peek inside so bad! And these guys are just the sweetest.
