Workers are making progress on the Westover Terrace lot where IHOP was formerly housed. Charting the progress since we featured it, mid-February (here), the IHOP sign is gone, the lot has been leveled and the building is going up quickly. The new building is much closer to Green Valley and Battleground, that was the IHOP. To the right, a utility company from Colfax was also on site.
Core Life, the restaurant going up in this site, is part of a fast growing chain of restaurants with healthy "clean" food for healthy lifestyles. Hopefully, it will be well received by the local communities, the people of Irving Park & Kirkwood, the people who work in the businesses and health care facilities nearby. This photo was taken on Monday and we're betting there are already drastic changes. Likely, the building on this .64 acre lot will be ready soon. It is fun to drive around on the weekends to see how Greensboro is changing. Have a great weekend, however, you decide to spend it.
Progress is being made quickly.
