Yesterday morning, the predicted snow fell, and then some. Not only was school cancelled, it was not even an optional teacher workday. People were advised to stay put and Greensboro was silent. It seemed as if there were as many cancellations as places open. Uncharacteristically, even more snow fell than was predicted. Even with electricity and access to programs for binge watching and social media for posting snow photos, people have been hinting at cabin fever.
Hopefully the bird bath in the above photo will not crack and the fig tree will weather the storm. Fig trees aren't supposed to be subjected to temperatures below 20 degrees. Somehow each year, the manage to grow again. How are you spending your time? Are your pantries stocked?
That is a lot of snow for your area to deal with. Beautiful shot!
