The Cathedral of Faith Christian Center (CFCC) is located at 7200 Summerfield Road. The small brick church with the red roof, seems to put a lot of emphasis on fellowship and outreach to families, especially those with children. To the left of the church is a large playground with a volleyball court and other areas for outdoor sports. Some of the signage in in English and some in Spanish which indicates that both Spanish and non-Spanish-speaking populations are served.
They bill themselves as a big, small church. CFCC began in 1990 with a congregation of three. It appears they have had the same pastor for the past twenty seven years. The church has a food pantry to help meet needs in the community. They do a lot of mission work, locally and abroad, stretching their impact beyond the church walls.
It is as if those dispersing jet vapor trails are leading us all to the church. If you are reading this early enough, consider heading out to Summerfield and participating in the service.
It sounds like it's a busy church.
In response to your question, the portal for the theme day is open still tomorrow, so if you want to participate with your post for tomorrow, go ahead.
