Nothing says summer fun like a sporty convertible. The above photo, taken at the Harris Teeter in Friendly Center, features a yellow, Ford Thunderbird convertible. With its retro styling, the above yellow beauty looks like one of the eleventh generation Thunderbirds that were manufactured in the early 2000s. The last Thunderbird was produced in 2005.
While sales weren't as brisk as Ford had hoped, looking at them now, the convertible model has that snappy charm that is so desirable during parades and when driving at the beach. We would not be surprised if this car's owner purchased provisions at the Taj-Ma-Teeter to use that first night of a beach vacation. To be sure, whoever owns this car, that is over a dozen model years old, takes extremely good care of it. If you are out walking this weekend, take a picture of a car you really like. There are some great ones on Greensboro. Happy Saturday!
Quite a car- though I'd prefer it in black!
