On Monday, driving around Spring Garden Street in the Lindley Park area, we noticed that the old Fat Dog's Grille and Pub was getting pressure washed and renovated to be transformed into B+P, Bites and Pints. According to the signage at the road (see below), Bites & Pints will be a gastropub- a place that combines high-end beer and good food. Chef, restauranteur, and consultant, Kristina Fuller and businessman and tavern operator, Mike Bosco, are teaming up to bring new life to this little building that looks like it was a gas station at one time. If so, the nod to British Petroleum/BP is even more clever.
Fuller, who owns and operates Crafted the Art of the Taco and Crafted the Art of Street Food, has consulted extensively on the project. Bosco, who owns and operates Westerwood Tavern, will be opening and operating the establishment. While it is sure to attract people throughout the Triad, Lindley Park residents are very loyal to businesses in their neighborhood, especially when they can walk to them. To be sure, with KF+MB collaborating on the venture, B+P will be a big success! It shouldn't be long before they open.
It sounds like that will be quite a job to get ready.
