The above photo features the new mural of the Green Bean Coffee Shop. The beautiful pattern reminds us of The William Morris Arts and Crafts wallpapers of the 1860s. We're not sure what they will do to the part near the front of the store. At the moment, the chalk plaster bust of Elvis Presley greets patrons as they arrive and features store mugs and a couple of remaining T-shirts for sale with the store's cursive logo. Likely, the Green Bean on South Elm Street is getting a complete makeover. Historically, the store has always featured a rotating exhibit of the art of local artists. It will be interesting to see if they are able to integrate artwork into the above mural, which is a piece of artwork, itself. The Elm Street location of the Green Bean has been open since 2002; serving up great coffee and café food for fifteen years.
Today is theme day for the City Daily Photo community. Click, here, to see how the rest of the world interpret's "Let's eat." Our photo doesn't feature food per se, but food can be had at this establishment. The Green Bean even caters, which we only recently learned. Happy Monday! It is already May!
Excellent choice for the theme!
