Horse Pen Creek Road has been transforming before our eyes. The above photo shows a still-rural lot with open space, blossoming trees, and a field with large trees casting shadows on a sunny afternoon. On the right, north of Horse Pen Creek shows an apartment complex, a recent addition to the area. The road is also being widened at intersections. It is as if the phone lines split the road down the middle; they make the contrast even more pronounced on the two sides of the street..
While change and growth are inevitable, having green space is crucial for keeping Greensboro green. As seen in the above photo, last Saturday was an exceptionally beautiful, warm day with dramatic skyscapes. We wish we could have skies that beautiful every day.
The extension of the loop around Greensboro is an eyesore and it is so terribly sad to see all the trees and landscape being destroyed just for roads.....We need to keep Greensboro green, not paved and overrun with apartments and housing developments.......Let's protect what we already have.....

Luminous comes to mind, looking at those trees.

I couldn't agree more Janis, green spaces in cities and suburbs are essential for a healthy environment! Have a super weekend, it's a long one here in Perth, yay ☺
