All Is Calm on Lake Jeanette

Today, our Spiritual Sunday post is a look at nature. We took the photo the day before Election Day 2016 and were struck by the sheer beauty of Lake Jeannette that morning. The leaves on the trees are past peak now, but the blue sky, reflecting an even deeper blue on the calm water evokes scripture. The fog had mostly lifted, but if you look at the water line, you will see the advection fog from the warmer air gliding over the colder water. May you have a wonderful Sunday, however you have decided to spend it. And, if you see this as a day of rest, add a few minutes appreciating the natural beauty of the world around us. On this day, we also saw deer. As they breathed out, fog billowed from their nostrils. Sometimes the simple things make our community beautiful.
