From food trucks to people enjoying LeBauer Park, this has been a week of busy photos on GDP. For today's Spiritual Sunday, we thought we'd share a calm, sunset-in-process. This photo was taken on the hill, high above Hobbs Road, when we were at Kathleen Clay Library earlier in the week. It was so beautiful and beckoning, seemingly one could step into it. Last night, sunset was at 7:43 and sunrise today was at 6:54 am. Days are getting shorter and shorter. Fortunately, fall is a beautiful season in Greensboro and the hours of daylight should be spectacular.
As we reflect today on the beauty of Greensboro and the connection we feel with our readers, we want to apologize if you have sent an e-mail and haven't received a response. We are really set up to receive comments directly on the post itself. Yet, being the polite people that you are in Greensboro, when you have a correction for us, you like to tell us privately.Clearing e-mail has had to take a back seat to taking photos, writing the text, and getting the page published. We're are trying to clear the 14,000 e-mail messages in our in-box. Give or take every few hundred messages, we find a personal and special message from someone like you. We make every effort to right inaccuracies in our posts and will be more diligent about responding to those of you who take the time to write personal messages. We are so thankful for your readership. Happy Sunday! Let us all pause for a moment of silent meditation.
Lovely!
